This picture of sheep grazing in a field with mountains in the background has been created using strips of coloured silk fabric blended with wool and silk fibres. The fabric and fibres have been needle felted to a felt backing sheet which binds the fibres and fabric together without the need for stitching and adds texture to the surface of the picture. Further detail of trees, sheep and snow on the mountains have been added using wool and silk fibres.
The picture has been mounted using a black and white card mount and is sold unframed.
