Needle felted wool and silk textile art picture, "Country Cottage", 7"x5", mounted, unframed

This beautiful textile art picture of a country cottage has been created using strips of coloured silk fabric blended with wool and silk fibres. The silk fabric has been needle felted to a felt base to create the background of the picture with additional wool and silk fibres added to the surface to blend the colours together and add texture. The cottage has been added using wool felt. The needle felting process binds the fibres and fabric together without the need for stitching and adds texture to the surface of the picture.

The picture has been mounted using a black and white card mount, dimensions given below. It is sold unframed.
