"Snow capped mountain", needle felted wool and silk textile art, 7"x5", mounted, unframed

A fabulous textile art picture of a snowcapped mountain with a lake in the foreground. This picture has been created from silk fabric and wool and silk fibres using a needle felting technique. The main body of the picture is formed from strips of coloured silk fabric which have been needle felted to a felt base. Additional wool and silk fibres have been added to the surface to blend the colours together and add texture. No sewing has been used to create this picture as the needle felting process binds the fibres and fabric together. It also add texture to the surface of the picture.

The picture has been mounted using a black and white card mount and can be purchased mounted or framed in a simple black frame, dimensions given below.
